"IF NOT FOR OUR WARN WINCHES THEY WOULD STILL BE FLOATING"
Jim Edelstein from Florida - Submitted on 04.04.08
I am a deputy sheriff with the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office. I patrol the county owned "natural areas" which are very remote and Everglade like. We utilize 4x4 F250s with lift kits and 38" rubber and Kaw 750 ATV's, of course all equipped with WARN winches. A while ago the local fireman wanted a tour of the areas we patrol so that they could be familiar in the event of an emergency that they had to respond to. Well how were we to know that they would show up with little 350 ATV's. They did OK until it came time to cross a canal to get home. If not for our WARN winches they would still be floating down the canal. Thanks many times over for getting us unstuck in the middle of nowhere. PS we sport front and back 3.0 winches on our ATV's and 15000 winches on our trucks
