So, as you know, we attended the 2012 Griffin King of the Hammers race this year. It was, as expected, and amazing race in one of the most spectacular locales in the world: Johnson Valley, California. However, we were there for more than just
coverage of the race and to have a place in the vendor area. We did a number of photoshoots for upcoming catalogs, promotions, and products. A couple of those photos even ended up as new artwork in our Milwaukie, Oregon lobby! The picture above is our Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (with an

While at the 2012 Portland International Auto Show, I ran across this
2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams package wearing "Radiant Red" paint. I have to say, I think it looks really good, and would look fantastic with our FJ Cruiser bumpers on it (not to mention the added protection, increased recovery options, and winch mount). This isn't the first red FJ Cruiser I've seen. In fact, we built one in 2006.

We debuted this customized FJ at the 2006
SEMA Show in Las Vegas. We outfitted it with our WARN

Yesterday I spent the day at the
2012 Portland International Auto Show for the media day. This is where the general public goes to see the latest makes and models, kick some tires, and sit in vehicles without a salesperson berthing down their neck. This may be the only automotive event many people attend all year, so automakers want to make sure the visitors' experiences count.
One of the most impressive things at this year's show is the Camp Jeep exhibition. This is where Jeep allows auto show visitors to ride along in a host of Jeep models and experience

We just found out that the
WARN 9.5xp won the Best Overall 4WD Equipment award from ExpeditionPortal.com. This award comes as part of the site's annual Gear of the Year awards. ExpoPortal said they were impressed with the winch's durable contactor, fast line speed, and low weight. Although the overlanders at the site have loved the M8274 for years, they went as far as saying the 9.5xp is their "favorite winch."
Warn Industries is honored to have received this recognition!
