WARN Dual Battery Control Kit Lets Riders Use 12V
Accessories With Less Worry About Dead Batteries
Increased electrical reliability and performance
Clackamas, OR (02/12/10) - Warn Industries, the leader in powersports vehicle accessories, has
released a kit that allows ATVs and Side x Sides to use two batteries on their vehicle for increased
reliability and electrical system performance. Introducing the WARN Dual Battery Control Kit.
This unique kit allows riders to fully use their 12V accessories-winches, lights, stereos, heaters, etc.
-knowing they'll have enough battery power to start their vehicle. Users provide a second battery,
and the kit's Smart Controller automatically reserves the vehicle's main battery for starting and other
essential functions. This kit uses a reliable analog circuit control with no sensitive computer
components, so it's built to last.
For maximum power, the kit also allows for a parallel connection-great for long winch pulls, jump
starting, and charging. And, if one battery is weak, the system automatically charges the battery
most in need. There's even an input for a winch control circuit, giving users dual battery power-in
winch performance, minimizing excessive drain on one battery during winching, and ensuring
optimum winch performance.
This product is specifically designed for vehicles with 12-volt DC magneto systems, but also works
with alternator systems. The kit accepts most 12 to 30 amp/hour batteries, and operation is
automatic-no need to do anything but install the kit. The kit includes everything needed to install on
a vehicle.
