Warn Industries offers powerful new AC-powered utility winch

Las Vegas, NV (11/03/09) - Warn Industries, the leader in torque-transfer technology, has introduced an all-new utility winch perfect for the shop, garage, or anywhere else 120V power is available. Introducing the WARN 1000AC winch.

The 1000AC features 1,000 lbs. (454 kg) of pulling power, making it well suited to moving rolling loads, such as cars, trucks, or other wheeled equipment. Plus this AC-powered unit has a superior duty cycle to stand up to repeated pulling duties. Additionally, the 1000AC showcases a strong permanent magnet motor with serviceable brushes, ensuring a long operating life.

Other outstanding features include 43' (13.1 m) of durable 3/16" (4.8 mm) wire rope; a planetary geartrain for smooth, reliable, maintenance-free operation; and a sealed pendant-style remote with an 8' (2.4 m) lead.
