Warn Industries Releases New Hydraulic Winch
with 20,000 lb. Pulling Capacity
Clackamas, OR (9/17/07) -
Warn Industries, the leader in industrial winches and hoists, is excited
to announce the introduction of its largest capacity winch to date. This winch can pull up
to 20,000
lbs. - perfect for those big pulling jobs. Introducing the WARNŽ Series 20XL hydraulic
winch.
Built for trailers and use in the towing industry, the Series 20XL has the features and performance to
get the job done fast. A 2-stage planetary geartrain means quick, reliable, maintenance-free
operation. Unlike worm-gear winches, which have a messy, high-maintenance oil bath, the Series
ԨXL's planetary geartrain uses a permanent lubrication system. No mess, no maintenance, no
compromises.
The frame on the Series 20XL is made from cast iron to stand up to the harshest environments. A
powerful 8.0 cubic-inch Eaton hydraulic motor provides plenty of pulling muscle - 10 tons to
be exact - and installation is easy, thanks to its bolt-on design. The Series 20XL also has a tension plate to
keep the rope spooled evenly on the drum, and the winch's disc brake will hold the full rated load.
With two drum sizes available and a choice of manual or air clutches, buyers can customize their
Series 20XL to fit their specific needs.
The WARN Series 20XL is SAE J706 and CE compliant, so consumers can be confident they're buying
a winch that is up to the biggest pulling tasks. Not only that, but they're buying a winch from the
most trusted name in the winch business: Warn Industries.
