Warn Offers New Power Actuator for WARN ATV Plows
Clackamas, OR (September 20, 2003) Warn Industries introduces the new
WARN ATV Plow Actuator. The actuator eliminates manual plow raising and lowering, or having
to use the ATV's winch for the task.
An improved motor powers the actuator, providing a rated single-line pulling capacity
of 300 lbs., and the ability to raise and lower any of Warn's ATV plow blades, including
the largest 60-inch model. The actuator only operates with the ignition on, and comes
standard with a thermal limiting switch that prevents overloading which could damage,
the ATV, plow or the actuator itself.
The actuator is controlled by a handlebar-mounted switch, which the driver can use without
letting go of the handlebar grip. The rocker switch is sealed and the housing is made
of durable glass impregnated nylon, so it's able to function reliably in the rain, snow,
mud or other inclement conditions.
Warn provides the actuator in an easy-to-install kit that fits all plows the company offers.
Each kit includes the handlebar switch, wiring harness, and all necessary hardware.
Also included is an easy-on, easy-off cable termination strap that eliminates the need for a pulley bracket.
