WARN Works Introduces New 3200AC-R 'Ready-to-Use' Winch with
Integrated Carrier
Winch, mounting plate, roller fairlead, and carry handle make the new 3200AC-R
ready to "Plug-and-Pull"
ORLANDO, Fla. (International Builders Show, Jan. 13, 2005) -
WARN Works has taken the utility winch tool category to a new level with the
introduction of the first all-in-one portable AC winch and carrier combination
that comes ready to plug in and use right out of the box.
The new WARN Works 3200AC-R winch is the first member of the company's
line to be pre-configured for quick and easy use. It comes attached to a
carrier that features an integrated mounting plate, roller fairlead, carry handle,
and built-in dock to hold the hand-held remote. The tool has a pull capacity of 3,200
lbs. and plugs into an AC wall outlet.
Because the 3200AC-R has all the necessary accessories already assembled,
a user can take the unit out of the box, plug it in, and begin using it immediately.
Depending on the user's needs or applications, the 3200AC-R can be permanently
affixed to a platform surface using three pre-drilled holes, or temporarily anchored
to a stable object using two Grade 10 anchor chains with hooks or D-Shackles with
anchor straps. The roller fairlead is attached to the mounting plate to guide
the wire rope onto the winch drum.
The new integrated unit replaces the stand-alone 3200AC winch in the
company's tool lineup.
The WARN Works 3200AC-R winch offers a 3,200 lb. single line
capacity built on a 0.6hp.motor powered by a 120-volt 60 Hz 1-Phase AC source.
It has a robust, all-metal gear housing and three-stage planetary gear design
with 176:1 gear ratio and double insulation. The multi-directional
clutch allows easy free spooling of the 7/32" wire rope. Other features
include an 8-ft. electrical cord and 12-ft. lead with the remote.
The 3200AC-R, as well as the other WARN Works winches, will find use on the
construction job site, and on landscape, agricultural and home improvement projects -
wherever pulling, hauling, or dragging are required.
