"THE WARN GOT A MIGHTY GOOD WORKOUT THAT DAY" Billy Sims from Arkansas - Submitted on 04.10.08 After telling my buddy Todd that the trail to his deer feeder was too boggy to take the Z-71 down, and the subsequent sound of all 4 tires free-wheeling from the high center job he just accomplished, we were stuck. A quick call to my Dad and my 95 Cherokee with the WARN 8000lb on the front was there. He had wallowed the road out pretty bad on the way in and my low stance Jeep was no match for the ruts he had left. I had to winch myself the entire 1/4 mile in to his stuck rig 100 feet at a time. Finally after getting to him all it took was a block to double the winch power and he was out. Then the winch worked us both all the way back out the entire 1/4 mile. Needless to say the WARN got a mighty good work out that day! The winch never complained a bit through the whole ordeal and still runs smooth as a purring kitten!
