Warn Industries has been involved with the sport of rock crawling since its inception in
the late 1990s. Our winches are favored by drivers around the world because of their
toughness and ability to stand up to the most severe terrain.
Today, Warn Industries is more involved with rock crawling than ever.
For 2006, Brad Lovell of Lovell Rock Racing took 1st place in the UROC
ProNationals Pacific Division using a WARN 9.0R winch, and also
won the 9.0R Bonus Championship. In 2005, WARN
winches were equipped on 50 of the 54 winning modified and super modified vehicles. On
Track Krawler Team of Dean Bulloch and Karl Munford captured the 2005
WARN 9.0R Bonus Championship with eight event wins during the season.
The 9.0Rc winch is made for rock crawling, and is designed
to help keep the overall weight of a vehicle to a minimum; it weighs only 54 lbs.
and includes synthetic rope. The 9.0Rc is built for rock crawlers looking for
efficiency, reliability and legendary WARN performance.
For 2007, the WARN rock crawling contingency program covers
WE Rock
events in the United States and will give a $2,000 prize to the driver
with the most wins using any WARN winch as their primary recovery
winch, and $1,000 to the driver with the second most wins using a WARN winch.
