SEMA Brute Build Update

Our AEV Brute Double Cab SEMA project is coming along really well. In fact, most of the parts are on the truck and it's once again drivable. A few notes on the build thus far:

We installed a larger one-piece 3" driveshaft from Six States. We had to modify one of the rear cross members for it to fit, though. We also installed a larger Six States driveshaft up front, too and are using 1350 series U-joints from Spicer. Speaking of the front driveline, we installed a SpynTec hub conversion kit to the Reid Racing knuckles so we could use our WARN Premium Hubs.

We installed the Skyjacker 4" lift kit, but used their 6" springs up front to compensate for the additional weight of the HEMI V-8, the WARN Rock Crawler Stubby bumper, and the ZEON 10-S winch. By the way, inside the bumper we're using the WARN W400-HID lights. On the bumper we're using WARN SDB-160 dual-beam lights.

Once off the rack, the vehicle looks awesome, and the Bushwacker flares really compliment the vehicle's appearance. The wheelbase on this thing is long; 136" to be exact. Overall length is 216". And with the 360 horsepower HEMI, it should be awesome on the trails.

It's not too long until the SEMA Show, and we still have some work to do, but stay tuned for more updates.
