Motor + Contactor = Motactor

The AXON lineup takes winching to the next level. It's most innovative feature combines a powerful permanent-magnet motor and potted and sealed digital contactor into a first-of-its-kind unit called a Motactor™. Motactor increases performance yet drops installation time by up to 50%. This is because there's no need to find a place to mount and wire a contactor; it's all built-in. Simply bolt it up and connect it to the battery. This innovative feature is patented and uses digital technology.

 

DIGITAL CONTROL

AXON's winch controls feature digital technology that monitors line speed, temperature, and load. AXON provides user feedback through a color-changing LED. This LED is located either on the rocker bar switch (AXON 35/35-S) or on the corded remote (AXON 45/45-S/45Rc, AXON 55, 55-s).

A blue LED indicates the system is on and ready to pull. As the winching process begins and the load increases, the LED will change color.

A green light will indicate a light load, and as the winch works harder, the LED will go to yellow, orange, then red under the heaviest loads.

If the winch becomes too hot or reaches a capacity that may overload the unit, the LED will blink red and the winch will shut down until it's cooled down or the load is released. Additionally, the winch has a built-in load limiter. These features keep you informed and help extend the winch's service life.

 

AXON 45Rc: SHORT DRUM, BIG POWER

The AXON 45Rc takes all the features and power of a 4,500 lb. (2041 kg), but puts it in a smaller package for sport Side x Sides. It features a shorter drum and 27' of ¼" (8m of 6.3mm) Spydura® rope.
