They receive a state-of-the-art powdercoating using a multi-step pretreatment process that resists corrosion and UV damage. There are provisions to mount a license plate and they are compatible with parking sensors and original skid plates. With a winch, such as an AXON 55-S, the whole package weighs about 88 lbs. so it won't overtax the vehicle's chassis.

The Semi-Hidden kits are easy to install with minimal plastic cutting. There is no welding, drilling, or grinding needed.

Winch-Ready

All WARN Semi-Hidden Kit mounting systems for Subarus offer the ability to mount one of our 4,500 lb. or 5,000 lb. capacity winches thanks to a built-in winch mount. This includes the VRX 45, VRX 45-S, AXON 45, or AXON 45-S winches. all four of these winches are IP68 waterproof, and are high-performance units. The AXON is one of the most advanced winches on the market featuring digital technology and our patented motor and contactor in one unit called a Motactor, which simplifies installation. Plus, AXON includes feedback about motor temperature and winch load on the controller itself by using a multi-color LED.

These mounting systems have been pull tested to over 6,000 lbs. to ensure you'll be able to get your Subaru out of a stuck situation.

Alternatively, if you don't need a winch, a 20" LED light bar will fit as well.

Off-Road Recovery & Capability

If you're building an off-road Subaru, recovery points are a good thing to have. The Semi Hidden Kits for Subaru includes two through-welded recovery points right up front. These will accommodate 1/2" shackles (5/8" pin diameter) for plenty of recovery ability. Additionally, the kit will help with the vehicle's approach angle.
